WHO WE ARE:Arizona Teen Tours is a non-profit organization based in Flagstaff, AZ with all departures leaving from Phoenix. Our staff is extremely dedicated and passionate about providing amazing experiences for your kids. We have led hundreds of youths through our summer camp programs with a flawless safety record and have received numerous letters of positive feedback and references. We offer a unique combination of dynamic outdoor adventure leadership opportunities and adventurous exploring of popular Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado,and California national parks, cities, and destinations. With diverse activities included in our tours, we find that a participant gets a wide range of fun experiences and learning! We are proud of our commitment to excellence and safety, and go the extra mile with our industry exceeding counselor to participant ratio of 1:6 or better. OUR MISSION: Arizona Teen Tours is dedicated to providing positive adventures for youths and teens to help foster leadership, self-confidence, creativity, compassion, and to cultivate the inspiration and confidence for participants to bring these qualities into their everyday lives.
STAFF: All staff are experienced in working with youth and teens, and are talented at creating a safe and positive atmosphere while leading tour activities. All of our staff are certified in CPR and first aid, with all lead staff having Wilderness First Responder certification. All of our lead staff have at least 5 years of trip leading experience with the average being 12 years experience. Our instructors include: school teachers, ski and snowboard instructors, rafting guides, skilled mountain bikers, hiking gurus, and full time outdoor guides. We hire professionals that know how to make you feel at ease while experiencing some of the best adventures life offers. Our fun loving, attentive, and expert staff ensure that you are more than just a number on our tours.
TRANSPORTATION: Expect to be traveling between destinations in comfortable recent model passenger vans, not over crowded charter buses. This allows us to go places other tours simply can't go. This includes remote campgrounds, convenient parking and overall more time enjoying your activities and less time getting there. You will have access to showers and amenities even while camping to ensure that you have a comfortable tour. If you ever need anything, our guides aim to please so don't hesitate to ask! Airport transportation and chaperones are available for out of state travelers for a reasonable fee. Additionally, we are offering trip day pickup door to door for a reasonable fee.
GROUP EVENTS: There is nothing more thrilling in the outdoor adventure business then a great day with lots of people. We can plan your custom trip for small or large groups. We are skilled in providing the activities, transportation, meals, lodging, and camping.
